Hello I am Hilary Joy Kuhl!
I am a Nurse, previously in the ICU, but now my 'workplace' has shifted from a Chicagoan hospital to a variety of international villages, homes, clinics, hospitals, and beneath the shade of trees. I have handed in my hospital badge to take the hand of Jesus and become a Nurse to the Nations!
I am on a life adventure that is after "His own heart” (1 Samuel 13:14). To see disease and death decreased and fullness of life increased! Not just medically but holistically!
Growing up God planted seeds in me to serve missionaly for Him. In high school a fire ignited within me, my heart began to beat in a different way; I had the desire to work for an organization like World Health Organization (WHO) and provide education and medicine to developing countries.
In my early 20s the Holy Spirit took hold of my life and gave me a completely new outlook in life; transforming me to bring the Kingdom culture to this World. He has been using people and experiences to cultivate, nurture, and grow these desires. To Go when He says go, to Stay when He says stay- My life is to be a walking house of prayer and be one who follow(s) the Lamb wherever He goes (Revelation 14:4b)
What does it mean to be a person after God’s own heart? It means your life is in harmony with the Lord. What is important to Him is important to you. What burdens Him burdens you. When He says, “Go to the right,” you go to the right. When He says, “Stop that in your life,” you stop it. When He says, “This is wrong and I want you to change,” you come to terms with it because you have a heart for God. That’s bottom-line, biblical Christianity. (Taken from Charles R. I am far from perfect and that is the beauty of Christ. He is not looking for Angels that walk among us but looking for imperfect people that are devoted to being loved and loving Him. So I have created this blog to share how God is working in my life and in the life of those around me. I am so BLESSED to be able to share my adventures with Jesus with you. And even more blessed to have your love, prayer, and support! Thank you!
